Auditions for the second session of the 2024-2025 season will be held on February 4th from 7:30-9:00 PM.
For Session B, we are searching for and prioritizing Tenors and Basses over other voice parts due to sound balance needs.

If you are interested in auditioning for the choir, review the information below. Please contact us with any questions!
During your audition, you will be asked to sing a vocal exercise or two, a short sight-reading passage, and you can prepare something to sing for us. You can sing a hymn, aria, show tune, folk song, etc. This can be very simple and we may only listen to a small portion of your prepared piece. There will be an accompanist provided for auditions. Don’t stress over auditions, we just use this to plan our repertoire! If you prepare something please bring sheet music for the accompanist. We will have a hymnal for you to sing out of if you don’t have anything prepared.
Below are important dates for our second Session and the expectations for members of our group. If you are unable to make any available audition times and would like to be considered, please contact us to discuss other arrangements.
Due to the nature of our shortened rehearsal session, TFS does expect singers to commit to all rehearsals and performances. Singers who habitually miss rehearsal may be asked by the Artistic Director to forego participation in the upcoming performance. If you have any conflicts with rehearsals, it is the singer’s responsibility to inform the Artistic Director in advance. If you already know of unavailability, please say so during your audition.
Rehearsals are held on Tuesday nights from 7-9 PM at Maple Springs United Methodist Church.
Rehearsal Dates for Session B
Singers are asked to pay a suggested minimum of $50 for each Session in dues. Each Season consists of two Sessions. You can participate in both Sessions or only in one. These fees cover purchase of music, hiring of musicians, and is a token of your commitment to the organization. Your dues are tax-deductible. We can make waivers in individual cases if needed; see the Artistic Director to discuss.
Membership in the Triad Festival Singers (hereinafter “TFS”) commits each Singer (hereinafter “Member”) to involvement in all rehearsals and performances. By agreeing and accepting the schedule, a Member agrees to be present at all the events it contains.
Participation in auditions, rehearsals, and performances indicates your acceptance of these guidelines.
Triad Festival Singers is a 501(c)(3), a volunteer choral organization governed by a Board of Directors.
